FAFSA Online For Students

Of all the websites you need to know to help your child, the most important might be the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA website is a requirement for colleges to process requests for grants, scholarships and loans, and is based on a tax form.
The US Department of Education has been trying to simplify the process and has proposed shrinking the form from over 100 questions to just 27.The form will create a version of the form to use when students are a high school junior, to help parents estimate costs.
The FAFSA is online, and requires the same type of information needed to complete taxes. Take advantage of this website, its free.
