Eyes on Design




The 21st annual Eyes on Design benefit is a fundraiser for the Detroit Institute of Opthalmology and will be sponsored in part by WWJ 950.  This unique car show will be taking place at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House on Sunday, June 15th (Fathers Day).

The DIO is a non-profit 501 corporation which was founded in 1972 in Grosse Ponte Park, Michigan and Eyes on Design is the primary source of revenues for the DIO's research, education and support group programs whose purpose is to enhance the independance of the visually impaired.

The theme for this years show is innovative technology and design and will display over 200 vehicles from th past, present, and even the future.  This year, this program which is known for celebrating automobile design will be presenting Bob Lutz, who is the GM Vice Chairman of Global Product Development with the Lifetime Design Achievement Award. 

The tickets are on sale for $20 per person and are free for children 12 years of age and under when accompanied with an adult.
