Eat Healthy, Protect Your Skin



With no more summer beach days to look forward to, many people often slack off on proper skin protection. Other than using sunscreen, what else can you do to protect your skin from sun damage? Studies have shown that Vitamin C also plays a critical role in skin cell health. Eating oranges, bell peppers, strawberries, broccoli, and potatoes (with the skin!) will help keep your skin healthy and may prevent skin cancer. The United States Department of Agriculture website features information about vitamin C, as well as lists of good foods and recipes to introduce your family to.
