Detroit City Council member Monica Conyers says reports of her causing a disturbance at a hotel in Denver is not true.  A newspaper report says Conyers had some discrepancy with her room and police were called out.  Conyers says you can't believe everything you read.  Her staff denies there was any disturbance at all.

She even suggests that Republicans may be behind spreading inaccurate information about the incident, she says to cast a shadow over the convention and Barack Obama.
