Connect Students' Study To Their Interests

Writing, reading, math, or science – school subjects become interesting and relevant for students when they can find ways to connect their interests to what they study in class. When you look at your student’s classroom, look for signs that these connections are being encouraged. A library of books to choose from, samples of students’ creative work on the walls, publications focusing on current events of the day, and other materials might suggest that connections are welcomed here!
