Comcast Adds Monster Jobs 'On Demand'

Comcast Corp., Michigan's No. 1 cable TV provide, Tuesday announced an agreement with Monster Worldwide Inc. to offer Monster's recruitment services on Comcast On Demand.

Beginning this November, as part of a three-year deal, Comcast’s Digital Cable customers across the country can access “Monster On Demand” for job listings and employment resources with their remote control. Comcast's On Demand service already receives more than 300 million than views each month.

Monster will be the exclusive provider of job listings on Comcast’s Searchlight ad-supported VOD platform, as well as the exclusive sales arm for Monster On Demand. The Monster-branded On Demand channel, located in Comcast’s On Demand menu under “Searchlight,” also accessible directly at channel 888, will give listings that drive viewers to a co-branded Web site,  www.Monsterondemand.com, where they will have the ability to further connect with featured companies and submit resumés.

Monster’s employer customers will benefit from an extended reach into approximately 16.5 million Digital Cable homes, and the ability to reach job seekers at a local level in more than 70 markets.
