College Success For Your Kid

The recent book, "Crossing the Finish Line: Completing College at America’s Public Universities," by former Princeton President Bill Bowen, provides parents with a guide to help their kids have a successful college career. Bowen advises parents to shop around for colleges and universities with a respectable graduation rate.
The number of students who graduate in four years from a public university can range from a low of 6% in four years to a healthy majority of students.
Bowen also found that many students who attend colleges that are less challenging than they are capable of graduate at a lower rate than their peers at tougher institutions.
