The Salvation Army is collecting used clothing and household goods this weekend at the Detroit Zoo.
Goods and used but usable clothing can be dropped off at a Salvation Army truck in the parking lot of the zoo in the Detroit suburb of Royal Oak on both Saturday and Sunday. The drive also will be held Nov. 14-15.
Gifts are tax-deductible and a tax receipt will be made on request at the time of donation.
Donations can be made without paying for admission or parking at the zoo.
