Client Wins From May 6

Broadsword gets three new clients: Waterford Township-based Broadsword this week announced three new client wins in Maryland, Washington, and New York. Maryland’s Adnet Systems, a provider of scientific support services for NASA’s Goddard Space Center, has engaged Broadsword for help in improving core engineering processes. FujiFilm eSystems, based in Rochester, N.Y., designs software and systems for digital photo processing for kiosks across North America. They have engaged Broadsword for software process improvement and for assistance in achieving CMMI Maturity Level Two and Three over the next several years. Insitu, Inc, an engineering firm in Washington that designs and manufactures unmanned aircraft has engaged Broadsword in a multi-year contract to help them improve software processes and to achieve CMMI Maturity Level Three. The Capability Maturity Model Integrated, or CMMI, is a process model used to appraise and benchmark the performance of information technology and engineering organizations developed by the Software Engineering Institute, a joint venture between Carnegie-Mellon University and the United States Department of Defense. Movimento delivers dealer service technology to Navistar: Navistar International Corp. has selected Movimento as its partner company to deliver next generation dealer diagnostic and service tools. Movimento is based in Gothenborg, Sweden, with its North American headquarters in Plymouth. The Puma Navistar product, “NAVCOM,” combines three capabilities into one device: traditional pass-through functionality will be provided as an industry standard RP1210 vehicle communications interface; stand-alone Software Reflash capability, also known as module reprogramming or AutoUpgrade. The NAVCOM is capable of performing advanced software updates without the need for a PC. This significantly reduces the associated complexity, time and cost; and stand-alone Data Recording, also known as flight recording or data capture. This feature allows service technicians to record vehicle faults and network data without a PC. The result is an increased ability to analyze and correctly diagnose challenging vehicle faults. More at www.movimento-inc.com.
