First Tech Direct deploys Dynamics for client: Royal Oak-based First Tech Direct said Thursday it had designed a new enterprise resource planning system for Michigan manufacturer Belmont Equipment and Technologies using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. Belmont will use Microsoft Dynamics AX to gain a holistic view of its business across all operational levels to better serve their customer needs. Belmont has more than 100 employees with six locations serving the United States, Canada and Mexico. With continuous growth, Belmont needed a new ERP system that provided easy access to data and could scale to multiple locations and distribution channels.
