ImageSoft wins Jackson deal: The Jackson County Friend of the Court office has chosen ImageSoft, Inc. to begin implementing software that will provide a better service to constituents with the reduction in court processing time and immediate access to any case files they may need. Jackson is the 10th county in Michigan to choose ImageSoft to streamline and automate court cases. Jackson County has 16,000 active FOC case files with paper documents stored floor to ceiling across 10 rows. Once the solution is in place, Jackson will convert these documents into digital images and store them in one computer repository. Jackson County estimates the initial stages of the system will be up and running by the end of 2008. Future plans include offering the ImageSoft solution to other departments, including: the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Clerk of the Court, Circuit Court and other cities and townships within the county.
