It's another down quarter for Ann Arbor-based bookseller Borders Group.
Borders reports losing 9.2 million dollars, or 15 cents a share, for its fiscal second quarter that ended August second. That's considerably less than the 25.1 million dollars, 43 cent-a-share loss in last year's second quarter.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters thought Borders would lose 29 cents a share during the period. The company has been restructuring and announced in June that it would consider buyout proposals. |
