Bloomfield Twp. (WWJ) -- If you're an employer who is toying with the idea of adopting the four-day workweek in your company -- Bloomfield Township has taken the plunge.
Community Relations Director Leslie Helwig told WWJ Newsradio 950's Pat Sweeting that people are adapting to the change very well.
Helwig said the public is also rolling along with it just fine, "We\'ve gotten a lot of favorable comments from residents and from builders and from all kinds of people who are happy to have the chance to do business late in the afternoon and early in the morning," he said.
Township employees now work from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Police and Fire are still accessible 24/7.
