Avoid Computer Writing Fatigue

When your child is writing on the computer, it is important to schedule some time for breaks. This helps keep your child’s mind sharp and body active.

Place a simple kitchen timer by the computer and have your child set it to go off every half hour.  When that timer rings, it’s time for your child to get up and do some sort of activity for five or ten minutes.

From running around the block to going up and down your stairs a few times, any activity will help keep your child energetic and burn those extra calories.

Make sure you complement one of their breaks with a healthy snack like freshly sliced apples or ants on a log!
