Detroit (WWJ) -- For the second time this week, auto stocks have taken a big pounding.
General Motors and Ford stocks posted some of their largest losses in years as they fell to their lowest levels in decades.
GM shares lost 92 cents, or 10-percent, ending Tuesday at $7.56 -- its lowest closing level since February of 1954. Ford shares fell 77 cents, or 20-percent, to close Tuesday at $2.92 per share -- the lowest price since 1985.
