For students interested in science and medicine, nursing can be a career for your future.
Nursing is a rewarding and growing profession, but being accepted into a nursing program is challenging. Nursing schools require strong science and math skills and admission is highly competitive.
In order to optimize your chances, you need to start early. Begin by researching nursing programs and verifying admission requirements.
You may also need to get experience in a health care setting and attend information sessions at a nursing school. Lastly, apply to multiple programs to increase your chances.
