2008 Detroit Festival of the Arts

WWJ is proud to help sponsor the 22nd annual Detroit Festival of the Arts.  This event will be taking place from Friday, June 6th through Sunday June 8th, 2008 in midtown's university cultural center.

There will be events and exhibits for the whole family including over 30 interactive arts activities for the children and over 30 live performances from international artists at the festival.  These performances include aerial and physical theatre, grammy award winning musicians, puppet shows, poetry, performance art and much much more.

Hailed as Detroit's unrivaled international arts festival,  this event executes a duel purpose  in providing outstanding visual and performing artists from around the world, while showcasing the City’s premier cultural institutions clustered within its boundaries.

To continue the presentation of these wonderful artists from around the globe at the art show, during this year's festival there will be buttons available for purchase in order to raise money to support the festival.
