1 Dead, 2 Hurt in Motorcycle Crash

Ann Arbor (WWJ)  -- A motorcycle outing turned deadly near Ann Arbor Sunday night.

A group of five motorcyclists were riding southbound on US-23 near Plymouth Road when Michigan State Police investigators said one rider lost control of his bike and went down on the freeway.  Three other bikes then crashed while trying to avoid the first bike.

43-year-old Anthonne Marice Anderson of Detroit was prounced dead at a hospital a short time later, while two other riders were also taken to the hospital for treatment.

One of the riders fled the scene of the crash on foot.  Anyone with knowledge of the crash is asked to call police.
